قصة الفيلم
يتلقى البروفيسور (فيليب جودمان) ملفاً غامضاً يحمل أسراراً عميقة عن ثلاث حالات ظواهر خارقة للطبيعة. هذا الملف، المليء بالتفاصيل المقلقة والمشاهد التي تتجاوز العقل البشري، يغير مسار حياة العالم الذي كان يعيش في عالمه العلمي المنطقي. يقرر (جودمان) مغادرة مختبره المريح والانخراط في رحلة خطيرة ومليئة بالمخاطر. الحالات الثلات، التي تشمل ظواهر لا يمكن تفسيرها بالعلم المعروف، تدفع العالم إلى إعادة النظر في كل ما كان يؤمن به. خلال رحلته المثيرة، يواجه كيانات غامضة وقوى خفية تهدد بزعزعة كل أسسه العلمية. هذه الرحلة، التي تبدو كتحدي شخصي، تتحول إلى معركة فكرية عميقة. قد تؤدي هذه التجارب المذهلة إلى تغيير جذيري في وجهة نظره، وتجبره على مواجهة حقيقة قد تدمر كل ما بناه طوال سنوات بحثه المكثفة.
